Headphones
May want to think about buying noise cancelling headphones. Many Freshman Regians have said that noise cancelling headphones are useful both in the library as well as on a commute whenever you want to study.

Study Guides
Use study guides, but do not make your entire studying dependent on them. If your classmate made your class a study guide for an upcoming quiz, there is a chance that everything he put on the guide is everything you need to know, but there is also a large chance that it isn’t. Moreover, it is also common for some Regians to actually put more than you need to know, which is a major hassle when you are trying to memeorize as much material as you can. The best way to verify this is simply to ask a teacher questions about the material on an assessment.

Pens and Pencils
Always carry both pens and pencils. While this may seem like a no-brainer to some, you will more than likely be in a situation in the middle of the year where you may only be carrying around one pencil or one pen. If you are a person who enjoys using pens to take notes and take assessments this should be fine (unless your teacher says that you need to use a pencil for a test). However, some teachers will only allow black pens or pencils on assessments.
Folders
Keep a folder for all of your past assessments and quizzes. More often than not, Regians will lose their a portion of their past quizzes and assessments throughout the year. However, people often forget that these will be crucial to help you study for your final exams. I recommend having multiple folders (classes such as Math, Science, and Language will be classes in which you will have a lot of papers), if not folders for all of your classes.
